Board Members:

Present: Michael Cahn, Darrell Barrett, Siobhan Ferrazzano, Ray Smaha, Bart Yarosz, Colette Ioffredo, John Wilkerson, Shelley Liloia

Proceedings:

-Meeting called to order by Michael Cahn.

-Bank account balance is $1754.07 from close of last season.  $45.00 check to be added.

-New amendments were signed and witnessed by Michael Cahn and Siobhan Ferrazzano.

-Sussex League:

-Club was voted into the league by a unanimous vote.

-Board took a vote confirming that we will be joining the Sussex County League.

-Voting results are as follows:

Darryl Barrett-Yes

Siobhan Ferrazzano-Yes

Shelley Liloia-Yes

Ray Smaha-Yes

Colette Ioffredo-Yes

Bart Yarosz-No

John Wilkerson-Yes

-Board voted and agreed to also look at joining the North Jersey League.  Vote was unanimous.

-Bart Yarosz will look into the details on joining.

-Code of Conduct:

-We will adopt code for parents, kids and coaches that will include consequences for violations.

-All registration forms need to be revised for new season.

-Coaching:

-Starting in May the club will be able to use the High School 2 nights a week for practices during the off season.

-John stated that coaching was usually voted on in July.

-Bart feels that coaching is a privilege and we need to keep the kids and parents happy.

-Colette agrees with the July voting date.

-Ray does not agree with having separate coaches for Varsity and JV.

-Shelly wants to have it published in town that coaching positions are open.

-Mike stated that we need to have a form for interested coaches to fill out.  All coaches need to have a letter in by a specific date.

-Board decided that July 13^th will be the date for the final coaching staff vote.

-June 1^st is the deadline for all coaching letters to be handed in.

-Board will begin accepting coaching letters anytime after the elections in April.

-If there are no letters in by June 1^st then the Board can approve a coach outside of the time frame.

-New Season:

-Season starts on November 1^st.

-Board will look into having sign ups announced at the Warriors pep rally.

-PR program will start August 1^st with sign ups.

-First practice is tentatively scheduled for November 5, 2007.

-August 10, 2007

-September 14, 2007

-October 12, 2007

-Next meeting is scheduled for May 11, 2007 at 8 PM.

-Meeting adjourned at 10 PM.
