Board Members:

Present: Mike Cahn, Siobhan Ferrazzano, Shelley Liloia, John Wilkerson

Absent: Darrell Barrett, Bart Yarosz, Colette Ioffredo

Proceedings:

-Mike Cahn announced that current bank account balance is $1354.07.

-Mike Cahn also announced that Bart Yarosz has been removed as Treasurer.

-His removal is in accordance with Section 4 of the bylaws which states “A trustee who fails to attend 3 consecutive meetings without notifying the president or director shall be considered to have resigned.”

Coaching:

-The following coaches were put in place for the new season.

  1. Jim Dill for novice head coach.

  2. Rick LaIacoma for JV head coach.

  3. Rich Ghering for JV assistant coach.

  4. Glen Haines for Varsity head coach.

-The Varsity and Novice assistant coach positions are still open.

-Head coach will have a vote in filling these 2 spots.

-Mike Cahn motions that any coaching position filled after today’s meeting will be by a special meeting and the head varsity coach will vote.  Motion agreed by all board members.

Fundraising:

-Golf Tournament is confirmed for August 4, 2007.  Registration is available online.

-Mike Cahn will send out postcards to all members.

-August 1^st the board will have a meeting to finalize the tournament plans.

Other Business:

-Website will be renewed for another year.  Mike Cahn would like to set up an online store on the website.

-Inventory of all uniforms and merchandise is needed.

Stanridge is Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8 PM.  Cost is $100 per wrestler.

-Mike Cahn will attend the REC meeting in August to discuss having the rec dept pay for the reconditioning of our mats.
