Board Meeting Minutes

meeting Date: July 21, 2009

Meeting Time: 8:00pm

Attending: Darrell Barrett, Michael Cahn, Coach Cruz, Coach Bongiovanni, Linda Frazier, Scott Aulman, Colette Ioffredo, non-board members - Amy Mastrioni

Agenda: 2009-2010 Wrestling Season

This meeting was informal at the high school while we were running a concession at the high school duals.

1.  prior minutes were not reviewed.

2. Discussion of options for tracking and/or buying of uniforms for wrestlers, excluding singlets.  The two choices appear to be outfit the varsity with sweatshirts , singlets and shorts and collect them after each match or to have varsity wrestlers purchase uniforms to keep and allow for each varsity wrestler to fundraise for their uniform if they cannot purchase. Discussion continued with mixed opinions and more discussion is needed at the next meeting.  All members did agree that jv and novice will be expected to supply basic black shorts.

3. August 25, 2009 was confirmed to be the official meeting to vote whether to join Tri County or to stay with Sussex County. No official opinions are recorded at this meeting, Michael cahn relayed information regarding the tri county rules and regulations being that varsity will have all away matches, jv and novice will be able to have home matches and away matches, there is an additional fee for jv league.

4.  Fundraising at the high school duals netted approximately 200 dollars and we are scheduled to run a concession again Thursday and the following Tuesday and Thursday. 

5. Next meeting will be July 28, 2009, 8 pm @ the High school during the summer duals.
